WHO WE ARE

Cultivating relational connection in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

INDYCAR Ministry is dedicated to building relationships within the motorsports community through the principle of relatability. Relatability is a crucial element for any ministry, as it allows individuals to be welcomed into a community rather than being seen as outsiders. Our chaplains have personal experience with many of the same challenges faced by those we serve, including drivers, mechanics, owners, and their families.

The INDYCAR paddock is a unique and specialized mission field, with its own culture, language, values, and worldview. For many within this community, concepts of church, Jesus, and the Bible are unfamiliar due to a lack of exposure and the diverse international backgrounds of its members. This presents a unique chance to connect with unchurched individuals from around the world. Our ability to relate and connect  to them has allowed us to see the Gospel thrive in what has typically been a less than receptive environment. Fulfilling our mission : To see the hope of Jesus radically transform the lives within the motorsport community

Jason's life was deeply immersed in racing as a driver, owner, and fabricator until a life-changing encounter with Jesus in 2010. With over 30 years in motorsports, 24 of which behind the wheel, he transitioned to becoming a full-time Pastor. Despite leaving professional racing, it remained a core part of him. God led him to serve as a Chaplain for IndyCar ministry in 2016, using his racing experience and love for Jesus to spread Christ's love. In 2023, Jason took on the role of Executive Director, aiming to elevate IndyCar Ministry to new heights. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his family in Ormond Beach, FL, surfing, and cherishing moments with his wife Kelly, and sons Gideon and Zion.
