HOW WE SERVE

AT THE TRACK

From the moment the semis unload, our team is on the ground and connecting. IndyCar Ministry serves across four different racing series, which covers everyone from mechanics, officials, medical staff, the drivers, and many more. A typical race weekend is a flurry of activity for our team.

  • Pray at each of the five series driver meetings

  • Pray with each of the drivers, teams, and officials during pre-race

  • Lead the invocation when called upon

  • Provide golf cart rides from medical when needed

  • Lead a Devotional service race morning

  • Provide a Catholic Mass

Our primary focus is connecting, fostering relationships, and loving on this community. We’re ministering to a couple thousand people, who travel around 30% of their year. So as you can imagine, real life happens and happens a lot. When it does, we are the ones to care, to comfort, and to encourage. It’s because of this, we are seeing God move in extraordinary ways!

WINNER’S CIRCLES

Our heart? To see real transformation in the paddock—not just surface-level support, but deep, lasting change.

Reaching people is one thing. Walking with them through the ups and downs of this intense lifestyle? That's where real growth happens. That's why we create Winner Circles—small groups that meet inside race shops during the week.

What happens in a Winner Circle:

It's a place where crew members, engineers, and team staff can be real. They study Scripture together, encourage each other through the grind of the season, pray for each other's families back home, and figure out what it actually looks like to live out faith in this high-pressure world.

These aren't just meetings—they're communities. In some ways, it's like planting a church right in the middle of the race shop. A place where people belong, grow, and learn to reflect hope and love to those around them.

Each Winner Circle has a leader who invests in their group, equips them to live authentically, and creates space for honest conversations about faith, doubt, struggle, and growth.

This is the long game. Not just a moment of prayer on race day, but a sustained presence that transforms lives from the inside out. It's the kind of work that doesn't make headlines—but it changes everything for the people involved..

fan outreach

Every race weekend, tens of thousands of fans gather—and you can be part of something bigger than race day.

At over 10 events each year, IndyCar Ministry brings our trailer and show car right into the heart of the fan experience. It's an opportunity to connect with your community, share hope, and show people they matter—all in the environment you love.

Here's how it works:

The show car draws people in (because who doesn't want to see an IndyCar up close?). From there, it's simple—genuine conversations, prayer for those going through tough times, connecting people with resources and local church communities. We provide Bibles, books, and support. You provide the human connection.

Is your church near a race venue?

Partner with us for Fan Outreach and give your congregation an unforgettable way to serve. Your volunteers will engage with thousands of racing fans, many who would never walk through your church doors. It's mission work that feels authentic—no awkwardness, just real conversations sparked by a shared love of racing.

What you bring: Volunteers who love people and love racing
What we bring: The show car, materials, training, and support
What happens: Lives are impacted, connections are made, and your community experiences faith in action
